Jodi is an amazing realtor, a consummate professional, and a delight of a human being. She’s organized, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Over the course of a year, in the midst of the craziest Los Angeles real estate market in decades, she helped us buy a new home and sell our old one. Along the way, she showed us countless homes, helped with 5 separate offers, and even found multiple off-market listings. She also remained very encouraging and understanding, even as we struggled through the ups and downs (mostly downs), which really helped us stay positive and ultimately find the house of our dreams. When we first started having thoughts about eventually relocating, we were referred to Jodi as a good resource to get an understanding of the market and to provide feedback around potential improvements we could make to our house to help increase its value once the time came to sell. Over the next couple years, she would periodically check in with us on how we were doing, our plans, and to give us up-to-date information about the market. Once it was finally time to relocate, we knew exactly who to call. We had great strategy conversations around what she thought we could get for the house and therefore where we should price it in order to attract the most potential buyers, and the plan for showing the house during the pandemic. During the selling process, we needed to rely heavily on Jodi because we moved out of state. She provided vendor recommendations and coordinated services we needed to get the house ready for sale, all while we were on the road and then in our new location, which was incredibly helpful so we could focus on other aspects of the relocation. Once the house was listed, Jodi maintained an ideal level of organization and communication, keeping us up-to-speed as the many offers came in and giving us all of the necessary information and guidance to make the best, informed decision. We ended up with 13 offers and sold for almost 17% above asking within 7 days (could have been even faster if not for the pandemic). And through it all, Jodi gave us all the time we needed every time we interacted to ensure we were comfortable and confident with every part of the process and every decision we were making. We were more hands-on in finding which houses to look at, but I always appreciated how Jodi would be honest about whether or not she thought a house would sell in our price range. When it came time to put offers in, Jodi was very knowledgable in what kind of offer would make us stand out. After only a month and a half of actively putting offers in a very hot market, we got a GREAT house. A lot of this was due to Jodi helping us craft a competitive offer and her relationship with the sellers' agents.
